Ib
Ib is a game I first heard about around my freshman year of highschool and would watch so many videos about it, downloaded the soundtrack and fanmade songs, and when I was able to it was a game I'd replay. Usually during lunch breaks or when I was supposed to be doing homework. Now I was replaying the remake, for my friends to watch. And I know they've enjoyed it so far. This game also showed me what macarons are and made me want to try some. And since then I've been able to try many different flavors. It's a delicious pastry. I plan to make some fanart for them someday. I have some old art from my school era but I have no idea where those are places. And soon I hope to also make small acrylics for them sometime!!!

When I made visits onto mainland Japan, I was able to visit 2 separate Ib popup cafes. Both I went to were wonderful. If you're a fan of the game I'd keep an eye out to see if one may be near you if you plan a visit to Japan. The first was at the Sweets Paradise in Tokyo around November 2022. I remember getting stressed trying to find it since it was a reservation. It also was more than just me and my partner, we had company and they didn't know any Japanese, knew nothing about the game, and none of us knew where to find the location. I think I would've been able to enjoy it more if it were just my partner and I. Personally I preferred the drinks. The curry didn't come with a spicy level options and was a bit too spicy for my liking. 
The other was at Tower Records Cafe in Osaka Station around March 2024, which I only found out about last minute and barely made it. This was exclusively just me and my partner, which meant we could both relax, and actually enjoy the dishes and drinks for the collab. Honestly I enjoyed the themed dishes more from this cafe. Warning for white people jumpscare. You can see my partner! The first image isn't mine because I had already sat down and was taking my order. 
I did gather merch from both Cafes and even found a few gashapons a while after, that not only had the characters, but the paintings too I had to get what I could. I have a physical shrine for my Ib collection. And then I also have some folders, postcards, papers, and paper coasters. I treat those delicately as I wan't as minimal damage to them. Especially the little paper coasters. I also have Ib: Deluxe Edition. It has a special item inside, for now it stays inside the box.
